..................................

6.20.09  The jewelry of Watergirl Designs has been welcomed into The Other Half Gallery in Winston-Salem. Thank you to Ron and Tamara Propst for discovering my work and kudos on having such a fantastic venue in Winston-Salem for artists.

..................................

4.7.09  The new io collection, a line of jewelry for men, has been created. I plan to expand the men's collection as new designs come to mind, and as I learn more and more what it is men seek in unique, quality jewelry.

..................................

11.7.08  'Sea Spray' will be exhibited at the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia in February 2009, followed by a gala and auction on February 28.

..................................

10.23.08  I recently attended Riverfest in downtown Wilmington, NC. The dates of the festival for 2008 were Oct. 3, 4, and 5, and despite gas prices and other economic woes for the country, it was a great success. I plan to participate again next year. Stay in touch for the latest on this and other festivals.

..................................

12.21.07  In the spirit of the holidays, Watergirl Designs recently made contributions to Friends of New Orleans for continued relief efforts [ www.friendsofneworleans.org] and to The Komen Foundation at www.komen.org

..................................

Watergirl Designs has made item and monetary donations to several causes, including the ASPCA, The Humane Society, The Red Cross, the Komen Foundation for breast cancer research/education, & local artists and communities.
