Watergirl Designs was established in 2002. My work has appeared in roughly 20 galleries, from New York to Oregon, in exhibits along the east coast, and is currently in several NC galleries/shops. I’m honored to be a member of both Toe River Arts and the Southern Highland Craft Guild.

I grew up near the coast of North Carolina, and now live in Western North Carolina. Having lived in beautiful, scenic areas, I’m easily inspired by nature. I studied art while attending the University of NC-Asheville, and am self-taught in wire work.

Sustainable practices for better earth living has always been important to me. I re-purpose and re-use packaging materials, and use as much natural materials as possible, among other practices. If it cannot be re-used, I try to recycle it.

Watergirl Designs supports different charities, including those for environmental causes, cancer research, animal rescues, and local organizations.

Thank you for being here – Sharon
